Maria Vasilopoulou

Dr. Maria Vasilopoulou holds a Bachelor degree in Physics and PhD in Chemical Engineering. She is currently a Director of Research at the Institute of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology of the National Center for Scientific Research Demokritos in Athens, Greece, where she developes organic and inorganic materials for application as interfacial layers in organic and perovskite solar cells and light emitting diodes. Her research activity focuses on the area of the organic and halide perovskite optoelectronic devices and mainly on organic/organic and organic/inorganic interfaces characterization. She has published more than 160 scientific papers published at high impact journals and conference proceedings and holds five patents.
