Konstantin (Kostya) S. Novoselov
Konstantin (Kostya) S. Novoselov is a Nobel Prize–winning physicist and professor of materials science, internationally recognised for the discovery and isolation of graphene and other two-dimensional materials. He was awarded the 2010 Nobel Prize in Physics (with Andre Geim) for groundbreaking experiments on graphene, which launched the field of two-dimensional materials science. His research spans 2D materials, van der Waals heterostructures, quantum phenomena, and advanced functional materials with applications ranging from electronics and sensing to energy and space technologies. Prof. Novoselov has held leading academic positions in the UK and Singapore and continues to shape the global research agenda in nanomaterials and emerging technologies.
